Completed in 2019 within the informal settlement of Amaoti, this community facility plays an important social role. A central concourse connects two main wings and provides a flexible space for gatherings, performances, and informal activity. The adjacent court doubles as a recreational area, extending the building’s usefulness to the broader community. Natural light, durable finishes, and built-in furnishings ensure the building remains welcoming and resilient, serving as a safe and supportive environment for children and families.

Extending their vision beyond the envelope, we also designed and specified all furniture and finishes. This holistic approach ensures that every interior element echoes the building’s intent, weaving together materiality, scale, and detail into a cohesive and inspiring whole.
